GeoEye Inc. Moving Corporate Headquarters to Fairfax County, Will Create 100 New Jobs and Invest $10 Million

Fairfax County, Virginia USA, Tuesday, October 12, 2010 - Virginia Governor Bob McDonnell announced today that GeoEye Inc., a leader in satellite and aerial geospatial information and services, will invest $10 million to move its headquarters to Fairfax County. The company plans to create 100 new jobs over the next three years and relocate its 230 Virginia-based employees to the new headquarters in the Herndon area of Fairfax County in the first few months of 2011.
