A Fond Look Back at the Rally - GeoEye Featured in The Colbert Report Video

"Stephen Colbert estimates the rally attendance and takes a fond look back at you heroes in your fearful finest. (02:43)"

The image he is referring to in the video was collected on Oct. 30 to capture the crowd of people who gathered for the "Rally to Restore Sanity" held from noon to 3 p.m. on the same day. The image was collected by the GeoEye-1 satellite from 423 miles in space as it moved from north to south over the Eastern seaboard at a speed of four miles per second.
