GeoEye, Inc. has named Dean Edmundson vice president of business development. Prior to GeoEye, Edmundson worked as senior director of global business development for Oracle's Primavera Global Business Unit. "Edmundson is a hands-on business development leader with a proven track record of successfully increasing sales through strategic alliances," said Chris Tully, GeoEye's senior vice president of sales. "As vice president of business development, Edmundson will play a key role in developing new markets for GeoEye's EyeQ and other information services in the international, commercial and federal sectors."
